These are uniform cells with little nuclear pheomorphism. The cells are regular in size and shape, there are no mitotic figures and are typical of cells from a benign fibroadenoma.
These breast lumps do not require excision unless there is some diagnostic uncertainty or the patient wishes excision to avoid anxiety.
