This is an intravenous urogram
(IVU) and it shows an early hydronephrosis of the right kidney. This is most
likely caused by a ureteric calculus lying in the pelvis. 90% of such calculi
are radio-opaque and may be seen on plain xray. In this patient the stone
was translucent
