This is an advanced carcinoma of the breast. The problems are - obtaining local control; dealing with the problem of super infection and bad aroma; the psychological problems of late presentation. The treatment options are difficult. Some patients respond to hormonal or chemotherapy. Some patients may be amenable to resection and major reconstruction using myocutaneous flaps. Local dressings and oral Metronidazole may help.
